Use one of the Vuetify Vue CLI packages based on the official examples to get your project started in no time. In order for your application to work properly, you must wrap it in a v-app component.
This component is used for dynamically managing your content area and is the mounting point for many components. Vuetify is a progressive framework that attempts to push web development to the next level. In order to best accomplish this task, some sacrifices had to be made in terms of support for older versions of Internet Explorer. This is not an exhaustive list of compatible browsers, but the main targeted ones.
To test using Vuetify. This will pull the latest version of Vue and Vuetify, allowing you to start playing with components. You can also use the Vuetify starter on codepen.

Some components like the date picker use Material Design Icons. The easiest way to include them is to add a link tag to your index.
Alternatively use npm or yarn to install material-design-icons-iconfont. Warning: While Vuetify attempts to not cause any css collision as much as possible, there is no guarantee that your custom styles will not alter your experience when integrating this framework into your existing project. I'm using Vuetifyjs library in my project. I want to add transitions to my components - but there are no documentation about how to start transitions. This wraps some card text in a transition. You could have a button trigger it or even add an onCreate method that triggers the show to true after the component loads.

Vuetify has its own set of breakpoints that you can use to determine the size of a flex unit depending on the screen size.
For instance, inserting xs12 as a prop means that the flex unit will occupy 12 columns in that row for extra small screens and larger. On the other hand, md6 would render the flex unit 6 columns wide on a medium-sized screen and larger.

For the linter I selected Prettier and selected to Lint on save. I selected the configuration files should be placed in my package. The Vue CLI will scaffold our application using the features that you have selected.
Once the CLI has successfully created the application, it will give you the command to change into the newly created directory and the command you will need to run to start your application:. To start our application, we will need to cd into the meal-prep directory and run the command npm run serve.
Here is what our application looks like:. We can see the Vue Router in action by clicking on About in the menu at the top of the page. This loads the About page. Vuetify is a material design component framework. It is similar to Bootstrap.
